The average home user has absolutely no room to accommodate such a large body. Therefore, after entering the home projection market, this type of laser pointer model does not seem to be so practical, whether it is an ordinary table projection method or a ceiling mount method. Today, the technology is still immature, even if such 8K home projection products are launched, they will not bring a good user experience.
In addition to the basic issues of chip and volume, the supporting technology of 8K projection is also not perfect. The author believes that this is actually similar to the development of 4K. In 2011, 4K has received widespread attention, but until today the 4K system has not been completely built, and the number of 4K film sources is still not satisfactory.
The first thing 8K has to face is the issue of content sources. Although the Rio Olympic Games in 2016 has already achieved 8K satellite signal trial broadcast, and Japan will also open 8K video live broadcast soon, but these are far from enough. 8K screens have very high requirements for equipment, and dedicated 8K cameras are expensive. At present, the most powerful SLRs are just barely able to achieve shooting, so until now 8K content sources are very few.
In addition, the production of 8K content is also a big problem. 8K video has high requirements for television components such as image processors. At present, most image processing equipment cannot complete the processing and production of 8K video. That is to say, the existing storage equipment and network transmission equipment need to be upgraded with 8K. Today, 8K laser pointer equipment has not been popular, and no one is willing to bear this huge expense today.
