The Velodyne lasaer pointer radar (LiDAR) sensor will be used in its Eagle X mapping and measurement system. Velodyne’s lightweight radar sensor delivers high-resolution imagery to the Eagle X UAV, enabling users to accurately measure and analyze any terrain.
The Eagle X system will be launched in 2019 to meet the needs of aerial mapping systems in the fields of geography, surveying, topography and natural resource management in Mexico, central and South America.
