In order to integrate traditional African design elements with the future elements of the highly developed Wakanda civilization, Carter collaborated with Julia Kerner to provide Queen Ramanda with clothing using the most advanced technology. Julia Kerner is an interdisciplinary designer with extensive experience in architectural, industrial and fashion laser pointer design, and specializes in 3D printed clothing.
