New Material Processing Application Laboratory Green Laser Pointer

It is reported that the manufacturer of laser material processing solutions II-VI has opened a new application laboratory in Detroit, Michigan. The continuous development of laser processing capabilities in automotive production lines has promoted cooperation between industrial green laser pointer experts and car manufacturers. II-VI’s newly established application laboratory provides customers with great support for laser material processing through practical training, application consulting and detailed feasibility studies, as well as advanced functions of laser processing heads.

The application laboratory is equipped with the latest laser processing heads for welding and brazing. These include the RLSK remote laser welding head and its new seam tracking function, which adjusts the green laser pointer beam focus diameter and position during the welding process. By combining these devices with multi-kilowatt laser sources, industrial robots, and rotary tables, processes can be developed for a variety of configurations and materials, including aluminum, galvanized steel, and hot stamped aluminum-silicon coated steel.
