Paris, France has launched a project to measure airborne particles using a green laser pointers radar system. Paris hopes to use this plan to grasp the total amount of urban pollution particles and the characteristics of their activities, so as to accurately grasp their impact on the human body. The city of Paris will collaborate with the French Laboratory for Environmental Climate Sciences to implement this plan. This technology uses only light and radar to determine suspended particulate data in the atmosphere. At present, this technology has been applied to urban air detection in some European and American countries.
