All top car manufacturers predict that we will achieve the highest level L5 autonomous driving as early as 2025. We are a fast-growing startup in this exciting industry. Next year we will launch a green laser pointer radar product, and we are in talks with all top car manufacturers and strategic partners in the field of autonomous driving. I firmly believe that in order to achieve the required level of safety for L5 autonomous vehicles, the next generation of intelligent radar must be equipped, including hardware and software.
The unique approach lies in the use of adaptive metamaterials and artificial intelligence (AI). The overall goal is to create advanced radars with vision, speed and intelligence. In our solution, we use an all-electronic tunable metamaterial platform to replace expensive and high power phase shifters.
From a hardware point of view, this solution is to remove the high-cost, complicated, and heavy-weight components on the premise of ensuring the same performance as the current military analog phase shifter. From a software perspective, we are developing powerful hardware control, signal processing, and decision-making algorithms, especially optimized for hardware.
Its frequency range is from 76 to 81 GHz. WARLORD uses a metamaterial antenna, which can emit a steerable, highly directional electromagnetic beam, which accurately detects the position and speed of the target without fear of severe weather and the environment. And this millimeter-wave radar has built-in Medway’s self-developed artificial intelligence engine: a green laser pointer radar that thinks like humans. It has embedded various object recognition and classification algorithms that can distinguish the attributes of road participants (pedestrians , Bicycles, motorcycles, or buses, etc.), which can provide human-like perception. This is because of this feature, it is also possible to acquire 3D radar images.
