Iran shows off new laser-guided missile

Iran’s islamic revolutionary guard corps (irgc) is using a new generation of laser-guided missiles, known as binna-2 laser-guided missiles, to conduct air-to-ground combat missions, foreign media reported.

Photos of the ceremony to deliver 10 upgraded su-22s to Iran’s revolutionary guard have been released, along with a new generation of binna laser pointer-guided missiles called binna 2.

Back in 2014, Iran’s defense ministry announced the successful test of a laser-guided missile called the binna. The missile is classified into surface-to-surface and air-to-ground models.

The binna laser-guided missile is capable of striking important targets with precision, is easy to maintain and can be operated quickly, but no information has been released about its range or warhead weight.
