EOS Releases Four-Laser 3D Printer Efficiency Improvement

On September 11, 2018, the Antarctic bear learned that EOS, the German industrial 3D printer manufacturer, released the four-laser metal 3D printer EOS M 300-4 at the 2018 Chicago International Machinery Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (IMTS).

EOS presented its latest systems and solutions at the International Machinery Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, Illinois. At the show, EOS released the new EOS M 300-4 system, the first system based on the EOS M 300 platform. The EOS M 300 platform is EOS’s modular metal 3D printing platform specifically designed for digital industrial grade additive manufacturing.

The EOS M 300-4 expands the portfolio of currently proven Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) systems – including the highly popular EOS M 290 system. The EOS M 300 is a platform for the future. The laser pointer supports automation, allowing users to adjust configuration and expansion as needed while ensuring security. With a range of dimensions up to 300 x 300 x 400 mm, it is suitable for a wide range of manufacturing applications including aerospace, industrial, medical, mold and automotive.
